ALICA WALTER
is a chef, educator, speaker, writer, and former farmhand. She has taught over 500 cooking classes, many of them as the Resident Chef of La Scuola di Eataly in New York City. She has been interviewed for Real Simple, Eating Well, and Vegetarian Times magazines, and was recently a featured chef at the James Beard House. Alicia has a certificate in Advanced Food Policy and Sustainability from the University of Gastronomic Studies in Bra, Italy and a BA in Liberal Studies.
IAN KNAUER
honed his cooking chops in the world-renowned test kitchens of Gourmet Magazine for almost a decade before writing his first cookbook, The Farm: Rustic Recipes for a Year of Incredible Food, and hosting his cooking show (also called The Farm) on PBS and CreateTV. He has recently opened a cooking school on a working farm in Stockton, NJ where he teaches classes on every kind of cooking imaginable. Ian’s food writing can be read in publications such as: The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, Bon Appetit, Martha Stewart, Rachel Ray.
